[Written out here are several recipes that Maes used at the Tanabata festival, as promised. They're rather simple, really - his mun is just being lazy and not looking up what such recipes would look like. ^^;]

Well, the festival and cookout was quite fun, I thought! And a lot of people liked it, so maybe I'll do another cookout sometime.

For the curious, the photographs that went around recently are of my beautiful daughter, Elysia. Doesn't seeing her adorable face just lift your spirits? And morale seemed rather low, so I figured I'd spread that cheer around. ^-^

In other news... people are being forced to tell the truth, it seems. Well, my big secret's been out in the open for a while now, so that's no problem for me.

The cookout I mentioned in my last entry - well, it's happening. At the Tanabata Festival down in the park. I've got hot dogs, hamburgers, salmon, pork chops, chicken, and lots of other stuff grilling right now. Come for the festival and stay for the food, or vice versa! ^^

Wow, a lot of people are getting sent away lately - a lot more than usual, anyway. Hopefully they're getting sent home and not to a different battlefield or something, but still.

So anyway, I was thinking. All of those people made a lot of connections here, and a lot of people are going to be upset because they're gone now. So, we need something to boost morale - after all, we are at war, and an upset soldier isn't a soldier that's going to do well on the field of battle.

I propose we hold a massive cookout, where everyone can get together and get to know each other better. I'm even willing to cook all the meat, unless someone wants to help out with it.

Who's with me?

Or, you know, I could always requisition some copies of pictures of my beautiful daughter and send a copy to everyone here. That would cheer everyone up too, I'm sure of it!

...In fact, I might do that anyway. ^^

Now, not only am I feeling really weird, but I can barely hold that for thirty seconds.

((ooc: Because of Yubel's soul draining effects, Maes' philosopher's stone - made of human souls - is being drained. He's not quite as lethargic as he could be, mostly because he's still got plenty of souls in there, but his homunculus traits aren't going to work well until his stone stops being drained.))

He's... better off back home~~, especially now that he knows what's going on and can do something about it~~.

Hopefully he'll check up on Gracia and Elysia for me. Knowing him, he probably will at some point, but his life could get busy.

So first I'm some kind of dragon plushie for a week.

Now, after a week of calm, I'm... shorter than I usually am.

This place is in a mood to be annoying this month, isn't it.

((ooc: Because Maes is a homunculus, I'm not sure exactly how it works, but being usually biologically in his 30s and in total 400+... his body is now biologically equivalent to that of a twelve-year-old. (Not that the icon shows it well, but I tried?) His personality is mostly intact, though more of his pride will be showing than he usually lets on.))

Hnn... regenerating is taking longer than it usually does... maybe it's just old age or something. Even the Stone isn't inexhaustible, after all...

Oh well. Roy, Hawkeye, Edward, Alphonse - both of you -, Narcissus, Fuery, Havoc, Sheska, everyone, all of you make sure you make it out all right, okay?

Items he's bringing with him: his wallet stuffed with all of his photos of his family (including some undeveloped film of Elysia's party), his throwing knives, his cat plush named Solaris, his plush versions of Gracia and Elysia, and his Glaceon plush. The knives are inside their regular holder, strapped to his wrist, while his wallet is inside of his uniform jacket, but the plushes he's carrying.

Current physical state: still in the middle of regenerating his damaged arm - it's almost done - but otherwise fine

Current mental state: concerned, but otherwise fine

...Geeze, some creatures have some nerve, don't they. I mean, here I am, trying to cross the Commons. Invisibly, mind you, so as to not draw attention to myself. And it wasn't as though I was even thinking of attacking that Entropi thing - someone needs to live to tell the tale, after all.

But I was just going to go around the perimeter, see if there was anyone who needed help getting to the Arena, when out of nowhere, the thing sends a bolt of energy at me! Blasted me right at my shoulder, too - it was worse than what Lust did that time, and she sharpens her nails to relieve her boredom.

My arm's regenerating now, so it's not like I need any help or anything, but that hurt.
